Wow, its been a long time since I’ve been here.  I had a journal when I turned 16 so I could capture the adventure that was to be my first trip to Europe. It was sexy.  I kept all of my young and hormonal  longings in there.  It was wonderful because it was a sturdy thick leather that you knew you could keep for generations. It was only 5x7 so it was easy to travel with.  Once you filled up the inner booklet you could replace them and keep on writing.  I believe I used 5 or so over 6 years. Like I said, sexy stuff.  I’m actually thinking about treating myself to one for yoga teacher training. I already dropped 2.5k what’s another $120?

When the internet age started to take over and life began rolling at an ever increasing pace I became less and less interested in sitting and dictating my day.  The whole purpose for me was to have a narrative of the events and minutia of my life that may fade or blur over time.  I told myself then that I’d let my blog take that over.  Well way to go Drea, that kinda died a slow painful death.  But here I am tryin!

Right now I’m in the middle of a hell week that just won’t end.  I love the show I’m in and can’t wait to perform.  We need an audience badly.  This is one of the first show’s I’ve done where we really had a show on Tuesday night.  We can talk about the new drummer, crazy guitar guy and no piano another time, but this ladies and gents is a show.  I’m off too bed now as I have to be up and at work at an unmentionable hour.
